Julie is interested in the field of complex dynamics. In particular, she studies dynamics of quasiregular maps, which generalize analytic maps to higher dimensions. In addition, she is interested in researching various teaching philosophies and techniques to improve instruction in mathematics. She is also interested in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students throughout their education and teaching assistant responsibilities.
