Minutolo Takes Students from Struggle to Success

February 6, 2026 by Kaitlin Coyle

Jennifer Minutolo.

Teaching Assistant Professor Jennifer Minutolo helps students achieve success through engagement and collaboration.

“My passion is to engage students who typically have difficulties with mathematics,” said Teaching Assistant Professor Jennifer Minutolo. “My goal is to make the subject more attainable for them through cultivating an atmosphere in the classroom of collaboration and learning.”

She also works as advisor to the department’s graduate teaching assistants, passing on not only classroom methods but also her love of teaching.

“My focus on student engagement has built over time, as I have encountered students who struggle with understanding concepts and making connections,” she said. “I view teaching as my opportunity to speak hope into the lives of my students by giving them a glimpse of success at something that they have always struggled with.”
