Research
Alexandros Kafkas’s research is in algebraic geometry, with particular interests in equivariant Riemann–Roch theorems, Hodge theory, and D-modules. He currently studies the behavior of invariants and vector bundles on varieties equipped with group actions, emphasizing explicit calculations and the role of symmetry. He also has auxiliary interests in singularity theory, intersection theory, and reflexive sheaves.
