Hannah Garrett is a lecturer of mathematics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She graduated from the UT in May 2025 with her master’s in mathematics. Her master’s research was about integer points on representation varieties of triangle groups into the Lie groups of SL(3,R) and G_2, which she plans to continue working on. She is also interested in continuing to learn more about teaching philosophies and how to implement new techniques to enhance students’ understanding of mathematics.
