Lecturer
Jennifer Minutolo is a Lecturer of Mathematics at the University of Tennessee beginning in Fall 2024. She has a B.S in Mathematics from Lee University, an MAT in Teaching Mathematics from the University of Florida, and a PhD in Computer Science from Northcentral University. She has been a faculty member at Lee University for 6 years, teaching both mathematics and computer science courses. She also served as the Associate Dean of the School of Business for Lee University in the 23-24 academic year. Her doctoral research involved the investigation of security and quality in mobile software development. During her time at Lee University, Jennifer served as the Chair of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force. Her role was to research the implications of AI in higher education and to help develop policy for the university. Prior to her time at Lee University, she taught for 15 years at Cleveland State Community College. While there, she fulfilled many roles in addition to teaching which included the interim Director of the Athens campus and Coordinator of Learning Support. These roles provided the opportunity to work on several grants and present at numerous national conferences. She was a member of the Academic Council and coordinated the implementation of Statewide Tennessee Board of Regents mandates. At Lee University, Jennifer was the NCAT Scholar for the Title III grant holding various workshops and working with faculty and staff as they worked to redesign their courses to meet the needs of students.
