Professor, Department Head
I am a professor of mathematics at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UTK) and have been a faculty member at UTK since 1993. I received my PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Purdue University under the direction of Professor Jim Douglas, Jr. in 1992. My primary research interests are numerical analysis and scientific computing with a focus on numerical methods for (nonlinear) partial differential equations which arise from biology, engineering and physics.
